This pretty mug was inspired by the muted palette of the prairie in winter with a blanket of snow. There is a nutmeg glaze on the inside and top portion of the mug that softens to a matte white on the bottom. The field of white glaze shows off the texture and body of the clay which has flecks of iron that create tiny blacks dots along the surface. The handle is left unglazed which gives the mug a natural stoney texture. (shown here alongside it’s mini version)
